Sanako TILT show at Cheltenham Ladies' College

Thanks to Sanako for the invitation to speak to a group of teachers at Cheltenham Ladies' College today. The college is beautifully situated and very well equipped, and we were offered  a very warm welcome.

I really enjoyed meeting Judy again and I picked up some useful tips from her about how to organise resources in a shared area and from the gentleman who offered the technical support.  (I now know how to create a photo album in Powerpoint quickly and how to remove multiple animations in Powerpoint!)

Marie O'Sullivan introduced Language Point - a great site for sharing resources, and particularly good for Sanako-users sharing vocabulary tests.

As promised to the delegates, here are links to key documents:

The Ashcombe School - key references
ALL London - Diary 2014

I hope that this will be useful and I look forward to  keeping in touch via various networks available.  Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries or if I have missed anything out.

Thanks to Sanako (courtesy of Sylvie I think) for the nice comment on Twitter .. not so sure about the pic, but I suppose that the camera never lies ...!

  1. Thank you very much for your talk today Helen. You have inspired me to use my Google site to upload interesting links and videos, especially for Year 11 in preparation for the exams. You really helped to demonstrate how easy it is to use technology as a powerful language-learning tool, no matter how well or ill-equipped one's school is. I have already uploaded at least a dozen resources!
